Keep Working

During Campus Service Interruptions

Getting Connected

Most UNCG collaboration and productivity tools are cloud-based and accessible from any location and many devices (e.g. desktop, mobile phone, etc.). Many of these tools have Android and iOS applications that can be installed on a variety of mobile devices. Explore these options. Download what you think you may need to do your job away from your desk.

Some tools and applications must be accessed from the University network. UNCG’s MyCloud service provides access to applications and remote desktops from any device. A direct connection to UNCG’s General Computing Network (GCN) network is available via AnyConnect Virtual Private Network (VPN). Users should try out these services at home before a closure.

Being comfortable with the technology is the first step to successful remote-work or campus service interruption situations.
